Excited to Begin Building Relationships in Uganda with Veri Platform

In just a few days, I’ll be visiting Uganda for the very first time—and I have to say, I’m genuinely excited.

The thought of seeing Kampala for the first time, meeting new people, and stepping into a new financial market fills me with energy. Every new country I visit in Africa has taught me something valuable—not just about business, but about people, culture, and the importance of building trust. I know this visit will be no different.

Meetings That Matter

On this trip, I’ll have the privilege of sitting down with regulators, banks, and asset managers—conversations I’m very much looking forward to. These are the discussions that shape opportunities, create understanding, and lay the foundations for long-term collaboration.

I also want to extend my gratitude to Martin Manzi and his business partner Abraham Banaddawa for arranging these meetings and opening these doors. Building a working relationship with them is something I value greatly, and I’m looking forward to seeing where our collaboration will take us.

Why It Matters

For Veri, Uganda is an important step in our wider journey across Africa. Our vision is to be a service provider that truly listens to, supports, and empowers the financial sector—from banks and asset managers to regulators and advisers.

For me personally, this visit will be an education. New markets always are. And that’s what excites me most: the opportunity to listen, to learn, and to grow alongside the people I meet.
